In cryptocurrency trading, slippage refers to the difference between the expected price of a trade and the actual execution price. This occurs when market prices fluctuate between the time an order is placed and when it is executed.

For example, you might intend to buy 1 Bitcoin at $50,000, but due to slippage, the final purchase price ends up being $50,200. This increases your trading costs and reduces potential profits.

With CheeseBot, you can set the slippage (in percentage), which determines the maximum acceptable price deviation. If the price moves beyond this limit, the trade WILL NOT be executed.

Click "Settings" in the main menu to access the slippage settings. The default setting is 3%, displayed as "Buy Slippage (3%)" and "Sell Slippage (3%)".
Select "Buy Slippage (3%)" or "Sell Slippage (3%)" to adjust the percentage as needed. Simply enter the desired percentage — DO NOT include any other symbols. The example below shows adjusting the buy slippage to 10%:
Once confirmed, the menu will update from "Buy Slippage (3%)" to "Buy Slippage (10%)":
